Richard E. Jordan, PWS, CPESC 

Senior Wetland Scientist/Lead Environmental Inspector/ Wetland Mitigation Specialist  

 

Richard received a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Southern Maine in 1999. Richard has experience working with small mammals, conducting soil tests and taxonomy, sampling aquatic invertebrates, trapping and banding raptors, and conducting breeding bird surveys. Professionally, Richard is experienced and trained in environmental inspection, wetland delineation, wetland mitigation, wetland functional analysis, environmental permit preparation and acquisition, environmental restoration, GPS, GIS, and CAD technology. 

 

Richard can provide high-quality on-site expertise in erosion and sedimentation control, permit preparation and consultation,  regulation compliance, and jurisdictional vernal pool, stream and wetland identification. Richard is certified by the Society of Wetland Scientists as a Professional Wetland Scientist and is certified by the State of New Hampshire as a Wetland Scientist Apprentice. Richard is listed as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control by the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the International Erosion Control Association. Richard is a member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, the New Hampshire Association of Natural Resource Scientists, the Wildlife Society, the Maine Association of Professional Soil Scientists, the Maine GIS User's Group, and is the Webmaster for the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists.
