
Neil
has over 30 years of training and experience in a wide variety of land and
natural resource management and land development projects throughout the New
England states. After graduating in 1975 from the University of New Hampshire
with a B.S. in Forest Management and a concentration in Land Use Planning, he
began his career as a field forester in northern N.H. with St. Regis Paper Co
and Champion International. More recently he concluded a 14 year career with
Hancock Lumber as their Vice President of Procurement with responsibilities for
the acquisition of over 50 million board feet of eastern white pine logs to
supply their 3 Maine sawmills. Neil has been project manager on several land
management and development projects in Maine involving permit approvals, road
construction, lot design, forest management, personnel management and sales
liaison. Neil is a Licensed Professional Forester in Maine and New Hampshire and
a Certified Logging Professional (C.L.P.) He is an active member in many
professional organizations, including the Forest Resources Association, Society
of American Foresters, and the American Tree Farm Program and has held
leadership positions in several of these organizations over the years.
He is happy to be working again with his long-time friend Jim Boyle and brings a wealth of broad experiences and expertise to Boyle Associates.
